Bangladesh Coast Guard has opened five ships to the public on the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day. The ships were opened from 12pm on Wednesday (March 28). On the occasion of Mahan Independence Day, Bangladesh Coast Guard ‘BCGS Shet Gang’ (Munshiganj Launchghat, Dhaka), ‘BCGS Syed Nazrul’ (Ghat, Ghat, Biswaja, Biswaja, Bisjjar, Biswaja. (Digaraj, Mongla), ‘BCGS Touhid’ (Rupsa, Khulna) and ‘BCGs Aparajaya Bangla’ (Pigeon Port, Patuakhali) open the ships to the public.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq said a significant number of men from the area and the surrounding area came to visit the ship from 12 noon on Wednesday. This gives the common people the opportunity to learn about the ship and various issues related to the Coast Guard. Apart from this, responsible officers and sailors answered people’s curiosity and various questions about the ships.
