Ramadan will be available twice in a year.

The glorious month of Ramadan has begun. During this time, billions of Muslims around the world observe fasting. This year, Asian countries including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the Emirates are fasting for 13.5 to 15 hours a day. Considering the solar calendar, the lunar calendar is 10 to 12 days shorter every year, so the fasting period changes.

And every 30 years, the month of Ramadan rotates between the summer and winter seasons. This variation in the fasting period mainly depends on the latitude and longitude and the location of the country from the equator. Due to the change in the season, the holy month of Ramadan comes twice in the same year after about 33 years. Accordingly, in 2030, Ramadan will be available twice in a year.

At the beginning of that year, the entire month of Ramadan and some parts of the last part of Ramadan will be available. Ramadan will start on January 5 of that year. Again, the month of Ramadan will start on December 25 of the same year. That means that 35 or 36 days of fasting will have to be observed that year. In 2063, there will be two Ramadans in a year. This happened in the past in 1997 and 1965. The Hijri year follows the lunar calendar. Therefore, there are 354 to 355 days in a year according to the lunar calendar.
