Fake student arrested from residence hall

A fake student has been arrested from the Jahangirnagar University (JU) residential hall. The incident took place on Wednesday (March 5) night. The arrested person has been identified as Abu Huraira Rabbi (22). He is a resident of Mirpur village in Sirajganj.
It is learnt that while staying in room number 213 of the hall, students questioned Abu Huraira Rabbi when they suspected his identity and informed the proctorial team. At that time, a fake ID card of Harvard University was recovered from him.
At one stage of the initial interrogation, Abu Huraira Rabbi admitted that he had misled various people, even his family members, by introducing himself as a student of the Law Department of Jahangirnagar University, a student of Harvard University and a student of IBA of Dhaka University.
