India is not a discount on any subject: BGB chief

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui has said, “I will not give any discount on the issues we are deprived of with India.”
He said this at a press conference at the BGB-BSF Director General at the Home Ministry at the Secretariat on Wednesday (January 26th).
The Director General said, “I have told the Foreign Ministry to work on unequal agreements with India.” It will be resolved in the diplomatic channel. No concession will be given on our behalf. The things we think we are deprived will not give any discount on those issues.
Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui said, “We will sit with journalists before going to the border conference with India.” There you will find specific information. Border Killing is the most important agenda of the conference. They will not be exempted in any matter.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh will not give any concession to increase confidence with India, Home Advisor Lieutenant General (retd) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. He said that confidence cannot be increased by just concessions. Confidence can also be raised through discussion.
