Again robbery at a gold shop

Armed robbers hacked to death the owner of a gold shop in Nayarhat Bazar of Ashulia, Savar, while the shop was closing. At that time, members of the robbers’ gang exploded cocktails and created panic in the area and looted the gold ornaments of the businessman.
The owner, who was injured in the attack by the robbers, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Savar. The deceased was Dilip Das (48), son of Dulal Das of Gopinathpur Daspara village of Pathalia Union in Savar. He is the owner of a gold shop named Dilip Swarnalaya in Nayarhat Bazar.
Confirming the truth of the incident, Ashulia Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md. Kamal Hossain said that he saw the CCTV footage. Eyewitnesses said that Dilip Das was preparing to close the shop and go home around 8:30 pm. His wife was present there at that time. When the shop was locked, three-four people ran there and arrived. They detonated a cocktail and snatched the bag that was near Dilip. When he tried to stop them, they stabbed and injured Dilip. Later, they detonated a few more cocktails and quickly left from there.
