Assistant Advisor M Aminul Islam resigns

Resignation of the advisor's assistant professor

Professor M Aminul Islam, special assistant to the chief advisor in charge of the Ministry of Education, has resigned. He resigned today, Monday. Aminul Islam said that he submitted his resignation to the Cabinet Division. The Sheikh Hasina government fell on August 5 last year in a student-public uprising. After that, an interim government was formed on August 8 last year. Professor Muhammad Yunus took over as the chief advisor of this government.

There have been several reshuffles and new appointments in the advisory council in the last seven months. The interim government now has 23 advisors, including the chief advisor. Among them, Professor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar took oath as an advisor last Wednesday. He has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Education. Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud, who has been in charge of the Ministry of Education and Planning until now, is now only handling the responsibility of the Ministry of Planning.

Earlier, Professor Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, appointed three special assistants with the rank of state minister last November. Among these three special assistants, Professor M Aminul Islam was responsible for assisting the advisor to the Ministry of Education.
