The fire at the power grid substation in Aminbazar, Savar, has been brought under control. The fire service said that the fire was brought under control after about two hours of effort.
Earlier, the fire broke out at around 7:15 am on Tuesday. Nine units of the fire service worked to put out the fire. After about two hours of effort, the fire was brought under control at around 9:15 am.
A source in the media cell of the fire service told the media that eight units of the fire service went there within five minutes of being informed about the fire in Aminbazar. Later, another unit joined. The fire was brought under control after two hours.
However, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are not yet known.
