Pirojpur’s Nazirpur Upazila Primary Education Officer Mosa. Henayara Khanam’s multiple audios of bribery have gone viral, but no action has been taken against her yet. This has created a mixed reaction among teacher leaders, teachers and the upazila residents. It is known that the audio of the education officer’s bribery is going viral repeatedly. He accepts bribes from teachers in various ways.

Two teachers have filed a written complaint against him to the higher authorities alleging indecent behavior and bribery. Some teacher leaders, who did not want to be named, said that the education officer has created a circle to take bribes. This circle has a strong position. They have been doing this before with the facilities of the fascist Awami League. Now the circle is working together again under the guise of BNP-Jamaat leaders or their relatives.

A former chairman of Nazirpur Upazila Parishad, who did not want to be named, said that when he was the chairman, he also received some written complaints. Despite repeated warnings from the education officer, he continued to do the same thing. Some of the victim teachers said that they bribed the madam (education officer) in various ways after she came to the upazila. They did not tell anyone for fear of public embarrassment. The education officer also threatened them many times.
