The third season of HBO’s much-talked-about series ‘The White Lotus’ is underway. British actress Amy Lou Wood has caught the eye by playing the role of Chelsea in this series. This season’s shooting took place in Thailand. On screen, Amy is seen bitten by a snake. There is speculation about whether the snake is real or not. Recently, Amy revealed the ‘snake mystery’ on BBC One’s ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’.

‘The snake was definitely real, but the leg was fake. The fake leg was made during the shooting, and that’s where the snake bit. The day before going to Thailand, a member of the shooting unit came to my house and measured my leg to make the artificial leg; of course, I didn’t know the reason behind it. But I don’t know what the fake leg was made of,’ the actress said on the BBC program. She also said that she is not afraid of snakes; that’s why she enjoyed shooting the scene.

This young British actress came into the spotlight with the Netflix series ‘Sex Education’. Her popularity was further boosted by ‘The White Lotus’. In this regard, Amy told The Hollywood Reporter, ‘I really like the character of Chelsea. I myself have fallen in love with the character. I get so many compliments about the character, it feels like it will take years to digest them.’
