Great Independence and National Day Celebration

Through various arrangements, the great independence and national day was celebrated in Chapainawabganj. On the occasion of the day, tributes were paid at the memorial with 31 gunshots at sunrise in the morning. Later, at around 9:30 am, the national flag was hoisted and a parade was held at Dr. A.A.M. Mesbaul Haque Bachchu Stadium on the occasion of the great independence day. The parade was welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Abdus Samad and Superintendent of Police Rezaul Karim.
Among others, Yasin Ali, Deputy Director of Bir Muktijoddha Agricultural Extension, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Tashmina Khatun, government officials and employees, and people from different classes and professions were present at the time.
Students of various schools including police Ansar, fire service participated in the parade. On the great independence day, the district residents remembered the martyrs and the best sons of the country. However, no display was displayed this year.
