Jamalpur Sadar upazila has pushed a watermelon truck to the train. Four people, including the train driver, were injured. Their identity was not known. The accident took place on Thursday (March 27) at around 8:30 pm in the Kanil Ghunti Rail crossing area of ​​Maheshpur Kalibari area of ​​Jamalpur Sadar upazila.

Due to the accident, the train operating on the Jamalpur-Mymensingh route is closed for more than an hour. After the accident, the train engine disappeared.
Jamalpur Railway Police Officer -in -Charge (OC) Rabiul Islam said that when the Dewanganj Bazar -bound commuter express train left from Dhaka reached the Kanil Ghunthi area, a truck -bound watermelon truck lost control of the gate barrier and climbed on the rail line. At that time, the train pushed the truck and fell on a shop 20 meters away.

The OC said the train driver, gateman, truck driver and his associates were injured in the accident. Later, the train was repaired and the train was taken to Nandina station and the train was normalized. The truck driver and aide have been absconding since the incident.
Rabiul Islam said preparations were underway at Jamalpur Railway Police Station.
