The police hurry to the government employees’ procession towards Jamuna demanding Maharghbhata

Police have prevented the demand of the government employees towards Jamuna, the residence of the chief adviser to the residence of the chief adviser, including the ninth pay scale and 5 percent Maharghavata, with discrimination.

The procession started from the Central Shaheed Minar on Friday (February 7) at around noon. When the procession reached Shahbag, the police stopped it. When the employees tried to reach the barrier, they were sprinkled with water and dispersed.

Meanwhile, the employees spoke to the protesters’ leaders after the employees were dispersed. Later, a 5 -member delegation was given the opportunity to go to Jamuna. They went to Jamuna with demands at around 7pm.

The delegation is headed by the coordinator of the 5th to 25th grade Government Employees Forum. Mahmudul Hasan and Coordinator of Bangladesh 8-20 Grade Government Employees Association. Rafiqul Alam.

Earlier, the unity council started the demand for government employees at the Central Shaheed Minar from 9am. The chief guest was Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of civil unity. The special guest was Jonaid Saki, the chief coordinator of the People’s Solidarity Movement.

Government employees at the rally said that the employees of the Republic were relentlessly serving people. They took to the streets with logical claims. The 5 -point demand should be accepted immediately. If their demands are not accepted by February 7, the employees of the 5th to 25th grade will be forced to give strict programs in all government offices across the country.

Meanwhile, after the rally, the chief adviser to the procession of the rally said. Muhammad announced his head towards Jamuna’s residence.

The employees’ seven -point claim
1. In order to implement the ninth pay scale free of discrimination, the formation of the Pay Commission and the Pay scale should be implemented from January 2021 for the period of 5 percent (for the employees of grades of 8-20 grade) for the interior period.

2. Employees who have been promoted to the last step of the basic pay, the annual salary increase should be regular. In order to eliminate the discrimination of the pay scale, the employee’s representative should be placed on the pay commission with the determination of the pay scale in 5 steps.

3. Like the secretariat, the designation and grade of all government, semi -government offices, departments, departments and autonomous institutions should be changed and the discrimination among the employees should be eliminated by adopting one and uniform recruitment rules.

3. The three-time scale, selection grade reinstatement and all autonomous institutions with gratuity in the Pay scale Gazette in the 21st, will have to set the percentage of the existing gratuity/recipient with the introduction of the pension and the pension gratuity is equal to Tk 5.

3. Considering the increase in the cost of market value and the increase in the cost of living and the increase in values, all the allowances payable, the deruncity of the ration system of 8-20 grade and the government’s home loan facility should be simplified.

3. All the posts, including employees working in the block post, should be promoted or given higher grade after five years. In addition, the employees employed in the technical work should be given the technical status.

3. The appointment process of the finance ministry and the outsourcing system issued from the Ministry of Finance should be canceled in order to provide timecale and selection grades by calculating the jobs of the posts of the posts of the posts transferred from the development project to the revenue.
