Trump will announce new trade tariffs today

US President Donald Trump has said that all steel and aluminum will announce the import duty on all steel and aluminum.
He spoke of the plan on Sunday (February 7th) on the NFL Super Bowl from Mar-e-Lago Resort in Florida on Sunday (February 7th). Trump told reporters in the Air Force One on Monday that he would officially announce a new tariff. British media reported the news.
This new announcement by Trump will have the most impact in Canada.
Trump also said that the announcement of counter -tariff is coming for countries that will impose tariffs on US goods imports. However, he did not specify whether some countries would be targeted or any concession.
“If they impose our tariffs on us, we will take action on them,” Trump said.
Canada and Mexico are one of the largest steel trade partners in the United States. Canada is the largest aluminum supplier in the United States.
