The students blocked the principal of Shoaibnagar Kamil Madrasa Mohammad Nurul Huda in his office for 4 hours and signed the resignation letter in Jhenaidah’s Kaliganj. This incident happened on Sunday (January 26) around 1:30 PM. At that time, the students of the madrasa raised various slogans against the principal. It is known that the computer lab of the madrasa was rented on Friday, January 24. At that time, the trainees hired in the lab danced and sang. That video spread on social media Facebook.

There was anger among the students after the dance-song video went viral in the madrasa. Later, when the madrasa was opened on Sunday morning, the students demanded the principal’s resignation. After that, the students blocked the door from inside the principal’s room and kept it blocked for 4 hours, chanting different slogans. Then the OC of Kaliganj police station Shahidul Islam came to the madrasa and tried to open the door of the office but failed. Later, Principal Mohammad Nurul Huda came out of his room after being forced to sign the resignation letter written to the Deputy Commissioner at around 2 pm. In this regard, Kaliganj Upazila Executive Officer Dedarul Islam said that it is not desirable to force a principal to sign the resignation letter in this way. I have called the in charge of that institution along with the students to my office. I hope I can solve it.
