BNP has made health, nutrition and development expert Ziauddin Haider a member of the party chairperson’s advisory council. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced this in a media release on Monday.
A BNP source said that Ziauddin Haider has worked on sustainable health, nutrition and development initiatives in more than 35 countries in Asia, South America and Africa. He has worked in the research and evaluation department of non-governmental organization BRAC, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Thailand, the University of Toronto in Canada, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition in Switzerland and the International Atomic Energy Agency in Austria.
