Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, ‘A fugitive group has left the country or their leadership has left. They are trying their best to destabilize the country.’ Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus talked about the law and order situation, reforms and elections, and the formation of a new student leadership group during the nearly seven months of the interim government under his leadership. He said these things in an exclusive interview.
In response to the question whether there is any possibility of independence and sovereignty being threatened, the Chief Advisor said, ‘It is always there. A fugitive group has left the country or their leadership has left. They are trying their best to unsettle it. It is always a threat. It is everywhere, everywhere. So it will always be there.’
‘We have formed many reform commissions. We were supposed to give the commission report within 90 days. They could not give it. I am not complaining. Because it’s a huge job. They asked for a little more time – a month, two months. That’s a little behind. What else? Whatever happens when you go to work.’
