Wicketkeeper-batter Zakir Hasan is currently on leave after not getting a place in the Champions Trophy team. He is also not busy with the domestic league. He used the time to complete the marriage chapter. The Tiger opener got married on Friday.

Zakir tied the knot with Sarah Nusrat Adri. His wife is studying at Dhaka University. Several cricketers were present at the wedding of his national team teammate. Openers Naeem Sheikh and Afif Hossain Dhruv’s wives were present.
Zakir was in great form in the BPL recently. The left-handed star scored 389 runs in 12 matches for Sylhet Strikers. The average was 35.36 and the strike rate was 140.43. This time, he aims to maintain his form in the DPL as well.
