Bus robbery, goods looted in Savar

Cash, mobile phones and valuables were looted by passengers in the face of passengers on a moving bus in Savar. The incident took place in the Dairy Gate area of the Dhaka-Aricha highway.
The passenger of the bus, Liton Mia, said he was traveling on a bus carrying a good journey from Gulistan to Bolivada area of Ashulia. Some people from the front of Savar City Center boarded the bus. After some time they took out the firearms and took away the passengers and took away cash, mobile phones and valuables. Later they fled the C&B area. After the incident, the passengers stopped the bus at Jahangirnagar Dairy Gate. On receiving the news, Ashulia Police Station arrived at the scene.
Ashulia Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Kamal Hossain said that since the incident took place in Savar area, the bus was handed over to the Savar Model Police Station. Officer -in -charge of Savar Model Police Station (OC) Jewel Mia said our team has already started investigations. The culprits are being identified and the operation is being launched for a quick arrest.
