Bangladesh Railway has launched a new commuter train on the Dhaka-Narayanganj route. The train will travel 3 times daily with more than 5 passenger capacity. Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mia inaugurated the train addition program on Wednesday (March 27th). In the meantime, the passengers of Narayanganj, who travel to Dhaka-Narayanganj, are expected to reduce the long suffering of the passengers of Narayanganj.
During the inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner said that from now on, new commuter trains will operate on the Dhaka-Narayanganj route every day. There are 5 buggies on the train. 12 passengers will be able to travel on the train. Besides, 1,500 passengers will be able to travel. Passengers will be able to get to the last buggy first. There are arrangements to sit as well. This train is made in our country in the face of the new Metrorail. We want to develop the industry of our country.
Narayanganj District Superintendent of Police Pratish Kumar Majumdar, Railway Divisional Transport Officer Anand Kumar Pal, Jamaat Central Working Council Member Maulana Moinuddin Ahmed, Metropolitan BNP convenor Sakhawat Hossain Khan, Member Secretary Advocate Abu Al Yusuf. Shamsu Mohammad Khanja Sujan, a station master of the farmer station, said the train was released from Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka at around 4pm for Narayanganj. Later, it reached the farmer station around 5am.
