Container train derails
A container train bogie derailed while entering Kamalapur Railway Station. As a result, train movement was stopped for about an hour and a half. Now, arrangements have been made to run trains on a single line. Kamalapur Railway Station authorities confirmed the matter on Wednesday (March 19) afternoon.
It is learned that around 11:30 am, two carriages of a container train fell from the back on the downline while entering the station. Later, all train movements at the station were stopped.
Responsible sources say that due to the bogie derailment, train movement may be delayed today. Passengers will have to suffer due to this. Currently, work is underway to clear the line.
