Deer meat recovered in Sundarbans
The forest guards of the Kobadak Station of the Sundarbans have rescued a special operation and recovered 5 kg of deer meat. At that time, deer catching equipment, including 4 boats, was recovered.
The boat was recovered from the canal area of the monastery on Thursday (March 27) at 8am under the leadership of Kobadak Station Officer Md. Anwar Hossain. The Sundarbans Western Division (DFO) AZM Hasanur Rahman said a case has been filed under the Wildlife Education Act.
The recovered deer meat has been destroyed in the court premises with the permission of the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court of Cairo Upazila.
