Students protested against the attack on chemistry student Akash Ali, Tamanna Tabassum and Abul Basar on the source of not saying shoes at the Shaheed Minar of Jagannath University.

On Thursday (January 5th) noon, the chemistry department and the general students organized a rally in front of the university’s administrative building and language martyr Rafiq Bhawan.

Speakers at the rally said, “We have seen the Chhatra League behaving before the July coup. If someone behaves fascist again, then the call will be called again on July 5.

Akram Hossain, a student in the human chain, said that if the administration does not take any action in the incident, then the general students will create a movement against the administration and the party in which the incident took place. At the same time we will call for class exclusion.

Tamanna Tabassum, a student of the chemistry department, said, “We were attacked yesterday. We went to Proctor, they did not help us. Who will we go to? We want a fair trial of the incident.

Sohan Pramanik, a student of the Department of Islamic Studies and Joint General Secretary of the Student Rights Council, said it did not take half an hour to get the Chhatra League out on July 5. Another will be at Jagannath University on July 5 if needed. There will be no war again, my soil will be purified. We will return home without purifying my soil.

Sajibur Rahman, the convenor of the Justice for July, said, “An organization has said that we should give up their mistakes.” But Jagannath University Human Rights Society, a team, created an unpleasant environment there by taging a different team. The same worker attacked the students yesterday. That means that the mistake of the organization’s mistake is just Mackie. We can still see that none of the Chhatra League involved in the July murder was not tried. As a result, a party thinks they will not be judged their work.

Junaid Masud, general secretary of the Human Rights Society of Jagannath University, said, “As the Chhatra League has behaved, we can see that the Chhatra Dal is behaving the same.” We don’t expect it at all. We want to see them as our best wishes. We can see the negligence of the administration in this incident. We want a fair trial of the incident.

Abdul Alim Arif, a student of the Land Management and Law Department and organizing secretary of the branch Chhatra Shibir, said that a fugitive fascist Hasina’s party had sold and raped the liberation war. We can see a new fascist who sell the consciousness of July and attacked the students. We would urge you to understand the pulse of the students and do politics. We will tell the administration that they should ensure a fair trial of the incident.

Proctor Professor of the University Dr. Md. Tajamul Haque said, I received a written complaint in the morning. The six -member committee of the student has been given the responsibility of investigating. Quick action will be taken under investigation.

On Wednesday, two students of the chemistry department protested when two students of the marketing department of the marketing department at the central Shaheed Minar of Jagannath University (JB) on Wednesday attacked them. The attack was led by Anik Kumar Das, a student of the 2021-22 academic year of the student body marketing department. Also involved in the attack were Mahfuzur Rahman Chowdhury Mahi (3 batch), Ayan (3 batch), Arif (3 batch), Ratul (3 batch), Asif (3 batch) and five others.
