A journalist was beaten up by a doctor and his gang inside a press club after he complained of maltreatment at the police station in Mymensingh.

The injured journalist said that his father Moslem Uddin (70) had been suffering from toothache for 7 to 8 days. Later, many attempts were made to extract the tooth from him at the hospital. He promised to go to the hospital at any cost. Later, on the afternoon of March 12, he was taken to a dental clinic called Advanced Dental Solution in the city’s Shambhuganj Paschim Bazar area. After taking him there, Shimu Akhter, who claimed to be a doctor, prescribed some medicines to remove the loose teeth and good teeth without any tests. Moslem returned home with these and started suffering from more toothache. Even after taking the medicines, nothing worked. Later, around 11 pm that day, he realized that he had removed his loose teeth and good teeth instead.

The next day, on the afternoon of March 13, he was taken to a dental clinic called Reach Health Center in the Gol Chattar area of ​​Shambhuganj Bazar intersection. After taking him there, doctor Aminul Islam himself, without any tests, made Moslem Uddin sit in a battery-powered autorickshaw, remove the teeth and prescribe medicine. When he asked them about such maltreatment, he instead threatened the journalist with various threats.

In this incident, last Wednesday (March 18), journalist Manjurul Islam himself filed a complaint with the Kotwali Model Police Station accusing fake doctors Shimu Akhter and Dr. Aminul Islam. Doctor Aminul Islam started abusing the journalist and tried to beat him up for complaining to the police station about the terrorist group.
