Ershad's birthday is today.
Today is the birthday of former president and late Jatiya Party (JP) chairman HM Ershad. On the occasion of his 96th birthday, JP has taken up various programs including Qurankhani and Milad Mahfil. Ershad was born on March 20, 1930 in Dinhati, Cooch Behar, India. He died on July 14, 2019.
On Ershad’s birthday, JP leaders will pay floral tributes to his portrait at the JP central office premises in Kakrail in the capital on Thursday morning. Quran recitation and a prayer mahfil will be organized at the central office in Kakrail.
A discussion meeting and a prayer mahfil will also be organized at the JP chairman’s office auditorium in Banani in the capital.
