A fire broke out in the generator room on the ground floor of the four-story building of the Liberation War Museum in Agargaon in the capital, causing a loss of about 50 lakh taka. The fire broke out around 9 am on Monday (March 10). Talha Bin Zubayer confirmed this information at the Fire Service’s media center at noon.
He said that a fire broke out at the Liberation War Museum in Agargaon area. Upon receiving the information, two units of Mohammadpur Fire Station worked to control the fire. Later, the fire was brought under control at 9:36 am.
He said that the fire caused by an electrical fault caused a loss of at least 50 lakh taka to the museum.
