The BNP is on the field with the program in February to control the price of goods in the coming Ramadan and to restore fair elections and democratic stability in the fastest time. For this purpose, the party plans to hold a two -step rally across the country including Dhaka. The day of the program will be finalized by meeting with the central and divisional leaders soon. A policy decision was taken at a meeting of the BNP standing committee on Monday night.

Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman presided over the meeting at the political office of the BNP chairperson in Gulshan.

It is also learned that the leaders said at the meeting that there is no alternative to the current situation in the country. Over the past decade and a half, the country’s democracy has been destroyed. People have been deprived of their rights. The people could not go to the polling station in the three parliamentary elections. Now, in addition to the reforms, democratic stability must be restored. That is why the government and the people are elected as soon as possible. The government has to be under pressure for the elections.

In addition, the price of commodity increases every year by Ramadan. The people became disillusioned. Leaders emphasized on observing the program in February, fearing that the people of Ramadan started in early March, the cost of commodity would increase.

A member of the BNP standing committee said that the BNP is returning to the field to bring back democratic stability. The BNP does politics with the mandate of the people. The BNP will carry out the program to control the prices of goods during Ramadan, including collecting their franchise. Central and departmental leaders will finalize the program in the next few days. The program will be celebrated mainly before the start of Ramadan. When Ramadan is over, new programs may come in the light of the situation.

The BNP has been demanding elections within a logical period after the last few months of the election -oriented reforms. Even the top policy makers of the party believe that it is possible to be elected by July-August this year.
