The common ailments of this season are cold, fever and cough. Although cold and fever get better quickly, cough does not get better easily. This problem plagues us for a long time. It is seen that its symptoms persist for up to 2/3 weeks. However, in many cases, cough is also caused by allergies, asthma, dry weather and smoking.

1. Honey: Honey is the best home remedy for cough relief. Honey helps reduce cough and phlegm. Sometimes honey works better than medicine.
2. Basak leaves: Boil basak leaves in water, strain the water and drink it while it is still warm to relieve cough. Drink this water every morning.
3. Tulsi leaves: Crush basil leaves and mix a few drops of honey in it to make a mixture. Drink this mixture 2/3 times a day to get better cough.
4. Ginger: Cut ginger into small pieces, mix it with salt and drink it after a while. This method is quite effective in relieving cough.
5. Mixing turmeric in hot milk: Heat the milk and add a little turmeric to it. This turmeric mixed milk is quite useful in relieving cough.
6. Clove: If you have a cough, put a clove in your mouth and squeeze it a little from time to time to extract the juice and swallow it. Clove juice will soothe the throat and remove germs.
7. Gargling: Gargling reduces both cough and sore throat. Mix half a teaspoon of salt in a glass of lukewarm water and gargle for 10-15 minutes. Do this several times with breaks. This is a very effective home remedy to reduce cough.
