The High Court has suspended the government’s March 2 notification for issuing a circular that insulted and disrespected the judiciary, including the Chief Justice, in the national security directive. At the same time, the court summoned Home Secretary Nasimul Gani to the High Court on March 18 to explain this circular. A bench of Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Sikder Mahmudur Razi issued this order on its own initiative on Thursday (March 6).
At that time, the High Court said that important decisions of the state come from the Supreme Court. Yet this Supreme Court is insulted all the time. What kind of behavior is this.
