Three people, including women, were injured in the attack by opponents in Kushtia’s sheep. During this time their house was vandalized and looted. The incident took place at Mosulipara area of 12 miles in the upazila yesterday afternoon. The injured are undergoing treatment at Bheramara Upazila Health Complex. The victims have filed a complaint at the Bheramara police station in connection with the vandalism and looting.
Abu Mondal, acknowledging the attack, said, “We were working on agriculture. Suddenly, their people, including neighbor Mawla, Babu and Rezaul Karim, attacked us with indigenous domestic weapons. My brother Babu Mondal, Saiful Mondal and Bhabhi Deleted: Manjira Khatun were injured. The attackers vandalized our houses and looted the goods with a million eighty thousand taka in the house. The victim’s family wants a fair trial that the attack happened after the enemy.
Officer -in -Charge of Bheramara Police Station (OC) Sheikh Shahidul Islam said the police had filed a complaint in the attack. The matter will be investigated and action will be taken.
