Arrested with liquor in raid on bar in capital

RAB seized a large number of domestic and foreign liquor in the Tiger Bar in Abdullahpur, the capital. Five people were arrested. The RAB raided the illegal bar on Wednesday (April 23) around 9pm. During this time a large quantity of alcohol and beer cans were seized from the three floors of the five -storey building. Most were foreign liquor.
Meanwhile, four people, including the manager, cashier, were arrested, even though the owner escaped after the presence of the RAB. The company launched a raid on allegations that the company was illegally selling alcohol.
After a four -hour raid, the RAB said the company had been conducting bar without a license for a long time. Besides, the department of customs clearance and drug control department also had no paper in foreign liquor imports, officials said.
