MBBS-BDS degrees will ‘Doctor’.

The High Court has ruled that no one can write ‘doctor’ before their name except for those with MBBS and BDS degrees.

The High Court bench comprising Justice Razik Al Jalil and Justice Sathika Hossain gave the verdict on Wednesday (March 12).

In the verdict, the High Court said that no action will be taken against those who have used the title of doctor till date without having MBBS and BDS degrees.The court has ordered that action will be taken as per the law if the title of doctor is used in violation of the law from tomorrow, Thursday (March 13).
