Students of the Anti-Rape Forum met with Law Advisor Professor Asif Nazrul on five demands. A delegation of 25 people from the Anti-Rape Forum went to the secretariat on Wednesday to submit a memorandum and participated in the meeting.

Meanwhile, Professor Asif Nazrul said that in addition to the five points, there has been a demand to set up a court only for the trial of rape.

1. In the case of Asia, a special tribunal against rape and oppression should be formed to submit the investigation report within 7 days .

2. In every rape case, a special tribunal against rape and oppression should be formed to quickly complete the trial of the case and ensure the trial of all rapes.

3. The Home Affairs Advisor, Legal Advisor, and Women and Children Affairs Advisor should be held accountable for their failure on the issue of women and children’s safety.

4. The formation of ‘Anti-Atrocities on Women and Children Cells’ in all educational institutions and workplaces and the effectiveness of the cell must be ensured.

5. The laws related to rape, sexual assault and cyberbullying through social media must be amended to provide clear and appropriate definitions of the crimes.
