Murder by cutting the throat and wrist veins

A housewife named Taiba Begum (50) was murdered by miscreants in Naikshangchhari upazila of Bandarban by slitting her throat and arm veins. The incident took place on Friday (March 21) evening in Ward No. 2 of Baishari Union of the upazila. The deceased Taiba Begum is the wife of Sirajul Islam of Mogen Jhiri village of Ward No. 2 of the union.
It is learned that the deceased’s husband Sirajul Islam entered the house and saw the bloody body and informed the police. Later, the police came and recovered the body and sent it to the Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Naikshangchhari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mashrurul Haque said, we have received information about the murder of a housewife in Baishari. We have sent our police team to the spot. The body has been recovered and sent to the Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. However, the reason for the murder is not yet known.
