National Voters Day is today.

The seventh National Voters’ Day is going to be celebrated in the country on Sunday (March 2) with the theme ‘Yours is my Bangladesh, let’s vote together’. The Election Commission (EC) Secretariat has already made extensive preparations to celebrate this day. Various programs have been taken up centrally at the Election Commission Secretariat in Dhaka and at the field level in the police stations/upazilas, district and regional election offices to celebrate National Voters’ Day.
‘Special Publications’ will be published in national dailies to celebrate National Voters’ Day. Special talk shows on the importance and significance of Voters’ Day will be aired on Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar. At the field level, color rallies and discussion meetings have also been organized at district, upazila and regional election offices.
