The National Citizens Party (NCP) has decided to form a ‘Political Council’ to increase organizational mobility. The party will also organize a rally in Dhaka on May 2, where they will protest against the Awami League’s trial, registration cancellation and political activities.
The fourth general meeting of the NCP was held at the temporary office in the capital on Saturday. The convener of the party said. The central leaders participated in the meeting chaired by Nahid Islam and the member secretary Akhtar Hossain. The meeting decided to form a ‘Political Council’, which the party’s policy makers will take all the decisions. An ‘executive council’ will also be formed to implement this decision.
Also, a team has been formed to formulate the party’s constitution, who will draft the draft constitution within a week. The meeting also said that the NCP will hold a rally in Dhaka on May 2, where they will protest against the Awami League and observe the protest program.
