Missing Raihan’s body found in septic tank

The body of a schoolgirl named Raihan has been recovered from a seafatic tank in the adjoining house two days after the disappearance in Noakhali Sadar upazila. Police have arrested a youth named Farooq in the incident.
The incident took place on Thursday (March 27) at Hooghly village of Dadpur union of the upazila. Raihan Md. Abid Ali Haji house of the village. Alamgir’s son. He was a student of the 8th grade of the local Khalifa Hut High School. On the other hand, Farooq, the son of Selim of the same house, said that Raihan went missing while praying Tarabi last Tuesday. Then the phone from a mobile number demanded Tk 1 lakh from the family. Police arrested Farooq on Thursday morning, and on the basis of information provided by him, Raihan’s body was recovered from a seafatic tank in the adjoining house in the afternoon.
Sudharam Model Police Station Officer -in -Charge (OC). Kamrul Islam confirmed the incident. He said the body was recovered and 20 beds for autopsy were kept at Noakhali General Hospital. Preparations are underway to file a murder case. However, police have not yet confirmed the reason for Raihan was killed.
