This means that the new moon will be visible for 12 minutes after sunset before disappearing from the horizon.
In Perth, the sun will set at 6.52 pm on Friday. And the new moon of the month of Ramadan will set at 7.08 pm. This means that the new moon will be visible for 16 minutes after sunset and will disappear from the horizon.
