This year, the minimum rate of Fitra in Bangladesh during Ramadan has been set at 110 taka per person and the maximum at 2805 taka. The Fitra rate for the year 1446 Hijri was set at a committee meeting held at the Islamic Foundation meeting room at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital on Tuesday.
The Fitra rate has decreased this year compared to last year. In 1445 Hijri, the minimum Fitra was 115 taka and the maximum was 2,970 taka.
Mufti Maulana Abdul Malek, president of the Sadaqatul Fitra Determination Committee and Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, presided over the meeting. Members of the Fitra Determination Committee and prominent scholars were present at the time. After the meeting, the committee president informed the journalists about the Fitra rate.
