On February 14, the admission test for the 2024-25 academic year began at Jagannath University with the admission test for the ‘D’ Unit Social Sciences Faculty. Even though a month has passed since the start of this admission test, Jagannath University has not yet been able to publish the results of any unit. Jagannath University Registrar Professor Dr. Sheikh Gias Uddin confirmed the matter on Tuesday (March 18).

On the day of the start of the test, the university administration announced that the results would be published within 15 days of the test. However, this was not possible. The university administration says that a decision to publish the results will be taken after the Vice-Chancellor returns to the country on the 21st.

Meanwhile, the admission test for the ‘B’ Unit Arts and Law Faculty was held on February 15. Then, the admission test for the A Unit Science and Life and Earth Sciences Faculty was held on February 22. The admission test for the ‘C’ Unit Business Education Faculty was held on February 28. The results of these two units have not been published even after half a month has passed.

Regarding general matters, the university’s Registrar Professor Dr. Sheikh Gias Uddin said, “The Vice-Chancellor Sir is out of the country. He will return home on the 21st. The results will be published within a day or two of his return. The results of the Faculty of Arts and Law ‘B’ Unit and the Faculty of Social Sciences ‘D’ Unit will be published first. However, we will try to publish the results of all the units together.”
