Tamim regains consciousness

After successfully inserting a ring into Tamim Iqbal’s heart, KPG Specialized Hospital Director Dr. Rajib Hasan said that his physical condition is favorable. Now there is more good news. The former Bangladesh captain has regained consciousness. After regaining consciousness, Tamim spoke to his family. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials who came to see him also spoke to Tamim. However, it is known that he will remain at KPG Specialized Hospital for 48 hours for physical observation.
Earlier, Tamim suddenly fell ill while playing a DPL match at BKSP. Later, after being admitted to KPG Specialized Hospital, a block was detected in his heart and a ring was inserted. Tamim Iqbal suddenly fell ill while playing in the Bashundhara Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL) match at BKSP today. The Mohammedan Sporting Club captain felt chest pain when he went to field this morning. Tamim was supposed to be taken to a hospital in Savar and later to a hospital in Dhaka by helicopter. But the left-handed opener’s condition was critical, so it was not possible to take him to Dhaka.
