Such time comes in history. It seems that nothing is happening. Still, the eyes and ears have to be kept open. What happens? Bangladesh is crossing such a time after ‘August 8’. The previous days were unimaginable and unimaginable. Bloody, painful and glory.
Dr. Everyone knows how Yunus’s interim government has taken responsibility. The government has to face various challenges in six months. The criticism has not diminished. However, the government has received some kind of support for all powers except the Awami League. Is there a major change in this scene?
Politics is probably going to enter a new episode. In February, the student’s team is on its debut. It is not yet certain who will be the head of the party. However, a student leader concerned said that the convening committee will be formed mainly by coordinating the four categories. The committee will be formed with the anti -discrimination student movement, civil committee, representatives of the civil society, leaders of different political parties. The student leaders in the Advisory Council will resign from the government before joining the newly formed party. First of all, it has been confirmed that adviser Nahid Islam may resign. The other two advisors will resign for some more time. This new team can be launched on February 28 or then. In the meantime, the new party of the students said the chief adviser. Muhammad Yunus also confirmed. In an interview to the British media Financial Times, the chief adviser said, “They may be isolated in the process of forming the party. This is also a danger. Because, when politics starts, all kinds of politicians will be mixed with them. So we do not know whether they can keep themselves away from the politics of our country. However, the students are ready. They are campaigning. They are organizing people across the country. ‘
The new party initiative of the students has already created their distance with the BNP. In an interview by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, we have seen the intense response from information adviser Nahid Islam. This Bahasa may increase further in the coming days. This is the practice of politics. Because the fight is basically power. The BNP has already raised the question of whether there is any state fuel for a new party. However, a well-known political scientist in Dhaka did not reject the fear that Nahid Islam had expressed in One-Eleven.
Apparently Jamaat is not opposed to the new party. It is said that Jamaat-Shibir has the support of the new political initiative. However, if this happens, the BNP’s election unity with the new party has become more alone. What a wonderful event in politics! Advisor Asif Nazrul, however, did not reject the possibility of the students’ greater election negotiations with the BNP.
The Awami League has already announced several programs in February. There are also rigorous programs like strike-blockade. Although the leaders of the party are either absconding or imprisoned. Originally the absconding leaders are campaigning on social media for the program. BBC Bangla reports say that grassroots activists in the country have expressed warmth in these programs. Some of them think this will increase the danger of the grassroots leaders. The topic of seeing whether the Awami League can come down the field. Although the government will be on the hardline in this regard, it has been clear. Police have also expressed a strict position.
The possibility of the BNP movement in February has created curiosity in the whole matter. The meeting of the BNP standing committee has already been discussed. Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of the BNP standing committee, also indicated the movement in a statement. However, multiple sources say the BNP wants to handle the whole matter carefully. The BNP does not want any delay in the elections. Although the government and the Election Commission sources say, elections may be held in December this year or January next year. The BNP does not want to go anymore. If the party is possible, he wants to participate in the elections before. The BNP also has some kind of doubt about the student -led party.
Jamaat is in a relatively convenient position since August 7th. But it is not certain how much the party can have on voting politics. Moreover, many Jamaat concerned believe that the BNP does not want their opposition party. Jamaat talks are also underway to clarify their position on the seventy -one question. After the two legal issues, the Jamaat may be saddened for the political role of the War of Liberation.
An image of Bangladesh’s politics is found in the comments of the International Crisis Group’s Senior Consultant Thomas Kian on Myanmar and Bangladesh. He said, “The honeymoon of the interim government of Bangladesh is now completely over. Political challenges may increase this year as political parties and other important parties bid on reforms and desperate for electoral facilities. The government is also under pressure due to increasing prices of goods which they have inherited former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s disorganization. And the ongoing efforts to bring the economy back in the right direction will take more time to get the people of Bangladesh in reality. India is still in a tension with India and Rohingya refugees are less likely to return to war -torn Myanmar in the near future. Nevertheless, next year, Bangladesh has a rare opportunity to restructure the national political system and make it more inclusive and accountable. ”
Last words: All in all, the political situation is becoming more and more complicated. Distance and cracks are increasing between anti -Hasina forces. The equation of the ever-enemy-friend is probably changing. What happened in Pakistan? Old enemies against Imran were not one. The calculation of Bangladesh, however, is different. A bloody chapter has to be crossed here. But there is nothing to say in politics.
