Those injured in the July uprising have been involved in a fight with staff at the National Orthopaedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute (Pangu Hospital).
The incident took place inside the hospital at around 12 noon on Monday (March 10), said Ibne Mizan, Deputy Commissioner of Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
He said, “There was a scuffle between the staff and the admitted students. The police are there to handle the situation.” A hospital staff member said that they have been having a conflict with the admitted students at this hospital for some time. In the meantime, Rafiq, a blood bank employee, was beaten up on Sunday night.
